Why you should List during the Holidays

🤔🏡Should you list your home for Sale During the Holidays on The Main Line?

Think nothing sells during the holidays? Think again! Why you should List during the Holidays offers some reasons why you should take advantage of this sellers market this season. Holidays can be a great time to list your home for sale. From cozy decor to buyers looking to move ASAP, there are some great benefits to listing during the holidays. Here are my top tips for holiday listing.

Number 1 Stage the home accordingly. Time flies during the Holidays and while it might just seem like Halloween ends and Christmas begins, be sure that your decor is subtle and cozy over kitsch. Number 2 Curb appeal matters! Sure it might not be the best time to showcase an award winning garden, but be sure that the walk ways are shoveled, paths are illuminated, and that people haves someplace to wipe their feet. Number 3 Make the winter work for your home by showcasing features of the home that make it a respite from the cold outside. Be sure that the temps in the home for a showing are around 72. Number 4 price your home correctly. People looking to buy during the holidays take advantage of the fact that they have some time off to move and want to move quickly. This is not the time to price a home incorrectly and haggle. Number 5 Flexible showings. Be flexible with timetables for showing to take into account unpredictable weather. And most importantly Number 6, work with a reliable agent.

Do your homework and work with an agent who has a great reputation for getting the best price for their clients and is easy to work with.
