Top Ways to Enjoy Nature on The Main Line are here in time for summer? Looking for more ways to enjoy The Main Line outdoor opportunities? I was born and raised on The Main Line and love to show my clients more ways to enjoy the great outdoors. Here are some of my favorites to explore this summer.
First is Valley Forge National Historical Park. This historical park offers scenic trails, open spaces, and historic landmarks, providing opportunities for hiking, biking, picnicking, and learning about the Revolutionary War. Second is the Haverford College Nature Trail. Located in Haverford, which is one of the places I recommend most to new buyers in the area, this trail offers a peaceful and picturesque setting for walking, jogging, and birdwatching.Third is Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens. Situated in Devon, this botanical garden and arboretum boasts beautiful gardens, woodlands, and walking trails for visitors to enjoy. Fourth is Chanticleer Garden: Located in Wayne, Chanticleer is a stunning garden and estate known for its exquisite plantings, sculptures, and serene atmosphere. Fifth is Radnor Trail. This popular trail stretches for about 2.4 miles, offering a scenic route for walking, jogging, and biking through woodlands and open fields in Radnor Township. Last is Ridley Creek State Park, situated in Media. This expansive state park features over 2,600 acres of woodlands, meadows, and a scenic creek. It offers opportunities for hiking, picnicking, fishing, and wildlife observation.
