Latest Living Room Color Trends 2021 are in! Do your walls feel like they are caving in on you in the living room? Is there not enough space? Or do you need a living room refresh? I have been helping buyers all year looking for new homes on The Main Line. Many of the homes that they favor have some interesting things in common, and they include the Latest Living Room Color Trends 2021!
I wanted to share the Latest Living Room Color Trends 2021 because the living room, is truly where you do your living and is a huge selling point for buyers, even if you really spend all your time in the kitchen or den. First is Sage and emerald green accents. Green is taking 2021 by storm and sage is all the rage. Painting an accent wall or a whole room sage is a great choice if you are looking for something a bit different. It can be accented with a number of colors and is more noticeable than a neutral. Second is (believe it or not) orange. I know what you are thinking, and no it does not look like the set of Threes Company or out of the 1970s, the oranges that are favored today are extremely muted and look more beige in tone, but they are accented beautifully with rust colors and are a “Happiness” inducing color. Another color that is basically a vehicle for other colors that pop is grey. All tones of grey, provided they are not too dark, are great for living rooms. You can complement them with cooler tones or warmer. Lastly, is classic beige. An all beige living room is a standard of luxury and you design around beige in terms of textures, with a textured accent wall or lots of different types of fabrics in the room.
I hope you found this useful and if you are considering selling your home, a fresh coat of paint is always a good idea to increase curb appeal.
