Fresh Paint Colors for Spring Selling

Thinking about updating your home for the Spring Selling season? Here are the Fresh Paint Colors for Spring Selling. The right paint job can really add maximum curb appeal, without a huge upgrade cost. I represent Main Line PA sellers and the top spring paint colors are hot off the press! Painting your home really makes a big difference in curb appeal and while certain neutral colors are standard recommendations, here are the latest trends. According to Southern Living Magazine, these are the top trends in paint. Jewel tones are a hot new trend. Think raspberry and deep blues, but in terms of seller appeal, be careful how you apply these and keep jewels to accent walls. The next trend, I absolutely love, and that is a move towards earthier tones of neutrals such as creamy whites and linens. These add a great update to stark white or industrial style hues. Another trend is away from standard finishes and towards limewashes and variations in paints that add texture to a wall. It can be much more subtle than wallpaper, and a great update for sellers. Think hard wood floors are old fashioned? Try painted wood floors with different patterns. This is a recommendation that I would caution, because many buyers prefer hard wood floors and might prefer that they be maintained. Lastly, is a shift away from white trim. If you are painting a room, think one color trim included. It can make a space look larger. More room is always in style for sellers! I hope these suggestions offer inspiration to my sellers. If you are thinking of listing your home during Spring selling season, the time to find out what your home is worth is now! Homes on The Main Line are still selling at above asking price in most locations. I am happy to provide a custom market analysis of your home. Contact me for more details and reach out.
