The next trend, I absolutely love, and that is a move towards earthier tones of neutrals such as creamy whites and linens. These add a great update to stark white or industrial style hues. Another trend is away from standard finishes and towards limewashes and variations in paints that add texture to a wall. It can be much more subtle than wallpaper, and a great update for sellers. Think hard wood floors are old fashioned? Try painted wood floors with different patterns. This is a recommendation that I would caution, because many buyers prefer hard wood floors and might prefer that they be maintained. Lastly, is a shift away from white trim.
