Fall Selling Tips are here! Did you know that there is a secret selling season in the early fall and it is a great time to list? It’s true, fall selling can be some of the best of the year on The Main Line. I am a listing agent on The Main Line and I specialize in maximizing home values for my sellers year round, but I especially like fall selling. I wanted to share my cozy tips to add that extra something that will get the best offers and value for your home. First things first is basic landscape and curb appeal matters. Clean gutters, repair crown molding, remediate any odors, have landscaping touch up your yard and maybe add some seasonal flowers. Make sure that your front door is repainted and any area of your home that might have a specialty color that might not be for everyone, have that repainted as well. Next, replace all air filters and be sure that the fireplace is clean of ashes. These are good fall home maintenance tips as well. At the start of each season it is a good idea to check that all of the fireplaces are working and clear and that the gutters are cleared as well. Buyers may or may not ask about this, but if it is a cooler day, fires are an amazing way to appreciate a home. Another uncommon fall seller step is making sure that the windows are professionally cleaned. It is a shocking difference. The views of outdoor areas and features of the home are where buyers are looking during a showing. You want to make sure that the windows are sparkling when you list your home. Lastly are the little extras I like to provide at listings. When I am listing a luxury Main Line home in the fall, pumpkin cookies, lightly scented candles, and seasonal centerpiece in the dining room can create a very inviting scene for buyers. Are you interested in selling during this fall selling spike? Let’s talk about ways that I can help. The first step is to contact me below to find out what your home is worth, then watch some of my seller videos, and we can have your home listed in as little as 7 days. Let’s take this next step together.
