Best Frozen Treats on The Main Line!!! It is that time of year again, school is out and we are all busy entertaining kids and chasing the last hours of sunlight. One of my favorite activities with my two boys is to enjoy a frozen treat, and there are amazing options on The Main Line. I am a realtor here on The Main Line, but I am also a local and a mom, and with two boys, I know good ice cream. Here are my top five on The Main Line that range from traditional to avant gard.
First is Village Treats in Narbeth. This is probably the coziest cone you can find that serves Bassett’s ice cream in very traditional flavors, but in a really homey location. Enjoy also their waffles and cakes. Second is the more exotic flavors of La Michoacana Ice Cream in Kennett Square. This Mexican ice creamery has been in business over 15 years and offers chili powder and cinnamon toppings alongside out of the box flavors like corn, avocado, and guava. Third is for those looking for something on the lighter side, Yosl’s Frozen Yogurt in Cynwyd offers a variety of gluten-free, low-fat frozen yogurts that are all kosher-certified. With fresh fruit on top, the greek lemon is to die for. Fourth is Koffmeyer’s Old Fashioned Cookies and Ice Cream in Havertown. This is NOT on the lighter side at all, and arguably the most exciting thing at Koffmeyer’s are the cookies. These sundaes are insanely delicious with melt in your mouth cookies with incredible flavors. Reward yourself here! Last, but certainly not least is The Sugaree in Newtown Square. The Sugaree offers water ice, bin candy and build your own sundae. More than anything else, this is just a very fun place to go with kids. Also! Newtown Square is one of my favorite places to advise buyers to look if they are moving to The Main Line with their families. There are so many more ways to enjoy The Main Line summer, take a look at more of my videos and guides and remember, Kimmy Rolph sells The Main Line and local areas.
