✔️🏡3 Steps to Downsizing on The Main Line PA

3 Steps to Downsizing on The Main Line is our latest in downsizing tips. So many memories, so little space. Are you downsizing and trying to figure out what goes and what stays? I specialize in Downsizing on The Main Line. So many of my clients or parents of clients come to me with their hands in the air trying to downsize, but not knowing where to start. Here are my top three steps to get started.

First, Make a plan. Go to your storage facility or your new home and map out what you can take in terms of the square footage. The worst thing you can do is try to have it in your mind, then keep adding things. Move big to small and choose furniture for main space first. Second, sort smarter. Have yes no piles, then further divide NOs into donate or sell. Take a tip from KonMarie organization and if it does not bring you joy, get rid of it. On The Main Line, many home owners have incredible collections of paintings, antiques, and heirlooms. Consider hiring an estate sale expert to assist. This helps a great deal, espeically when inheritance figures in your downsizing. Last, preserve memories. If you have lots of picture frames or ticket stubs, find creative ways to display them combined. If there are tons of snapshots you want digitized, now is the time to do it. This saves lots of space, without sacrificing memories.

I hope this helped you get a plan together. I Have loads more tips and so many experts to help you on The Main Line, if you would like a consultation on starting to downsize and living options, call me today! Kimmy Rolph sells The Main Line and local areas.
