Main Line Summer Concerts give you something to do this summer! Longing for lazy twilight skies and great music? Hi, I’m Kimmy Rolph and I love summer on The Main Line, from ice creams to longer days, and amazing sunsets and night skies. One of my favorite things to do on The Main Line during summer is enjoy the outdoor concert series. My husband and I don’t often get to take date nights with two boys, but this is something we can all agree on as a family. Here are three of my favorite concert series to enjoy on The Main Line. Pack a picnic or buy at the food trucks, but definitely be ready to relax and enjoy that Main Line music this summer. First is the Bryn Mawr Twilight Concerts located at The Bryn Mawr Gazebo at 9 S. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr
This runs through August with shows on the weekends, and mostly on Saturdays at 6 and 7 pm. These shows are All ages are welcome and kids 12 and younger are free. Next is the Delaware County Rose Tree Summer Festival located at Rose Tree Park in Media. These concerts are absolutely free and located in a beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Playing all types of music from Classical to Cajun and Motown to Broadway these are always at 7:30 pm on Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Shows run through mid-August. Please note the venue is smoke and alcohol free. Last is the Kimberton Park Summer Concert Series located at 2202 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville. The concert series has one performance a month from June to August and is organized East Pikeland Township and sponsored by local businesses. Again these concerts are free and take place at the Kimberton Park Amphitheater. Different food trucks are available at each event as well, so come hungry!
